Spicy Cran-Raspberry Fruit Drop Cocktail

Three cocktail posts in one night – here’s the final!

This was the result of perusing both a massive cocktail book that my very thoughtful and deadly bro Leo got me for my birthday – he’s found here, and he created that graphic at the head of the page you’re on. Go visit him!) …and the back shelves of one of the best health food stores in the world, Nature’s Gold in Greystones. I found their cordials, and took the cranberry stuff in stock home. Then all this happened.

Ingredients & Directions:

Half fill a tumbler with crushed ice, and drop in 1 standard measure each of Mango Vodka, Cointreau & Spiced Rum. You could add more rum again, depending on your tastes! Throw in a handful of fresh raspberries, then 2 measures of Cranberry cordial. Stir or shake vigourously, and strain into a fresh cocktail glass, permitting the raspberries to drop into the chilled liquid.

This dilutes gorgeously in pink lemonade if it’s too strong for you as is!

Sounds delicious! I’ve never tried Mango vodka!

It is! Ohmygosh, it’s delicious – ditto mango liqueur. Little harder than usual to find than normal (in Ireland anyway) but blissfully good. I want to try it with some orange and pomegranate juice one of these days 🙂
